Fortis Ludhiana’s Cyclothon 3.0 Empowers Citizens to Prioritize Heart Health this World Heart Day; Witnesses Participation from more than 1200 Cyclists

: Fortis Ludhiana organized the third edition of its Cyclothon, in association with The Pedallers and District Administration to commemorate World Heart Day. The event saw an overwhelming response from hundreds of cycling enthusiasts, who united to spread awareness on the importance of heart health through the simple and effective activity of cycling, in an endeavor to promote cardiovascular health.

The Cyclothon was flagged off by Mr. Jasdev Singh Sekhon, Assistant Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, in the presence of Mr. Sunveer Sinngh Bhambra, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital Chandigarh Road, and Mr. Gurdarshan Singh Mangat, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital Mall Road, Ludhiana. Dr. Paramdeep Singh Sandhu, Director, Cardiology, Dr. Sandeep Chopra, Director, Dr. Nikhil Bansal, Consultant, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Dr. Manender Singla, Additional Director, Cardiac Anesthesia, and Dr. Manav Wadhera, Associate Consultant, Cardiology also registered their presence at the event.

The cyclothon commenced at 5:00 am from Fortis Hospital, Mall Road, Ludhiana, and concluded at Fortis Hospital, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. Participants cycled through key city points including Bharat Nagar Chowk, Jagraon Bridge, Vishwakarma Chowk, Samrala Chowk, Cheema Chowk, and Jamalpur Chowk, symbolizing unity in building a healthier community. Participants were felicitated with certificates and medals at the end of the cyclothon, along with a heart-healthy breakfast to mark their dedication.
